These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of chrisgreerpress.com (the “Site”), operated by Chris Greer Press LLC (“Chris Greer Press,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a New Mexico limited liability company. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate communication between prospective authors and Chris Greer Press. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected database.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s infrastructure or other users’ access.
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

2. Intellectual Property

2.1 Our Content

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, software, and the compilation thereof — is the property of Chris Greer Press LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any Site content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., printing a page for your own reference).

2.2 Trademarks

“Chris Greer Press,” the lion mark logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Chris Greer Press LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

3. Manuscript Submissions and the Publishing Blueprint

3.1 Ownership

Manuscripts, synopses, and other creative works submitted through the Publishing Blueprint or by any other means remain the sole intellectual property of their authors. Submission does not transfer any rights to Chris Greer Press.

3.2 No Publishing Commitment

Submitting a Publishing Blueprint does not constitute a publishing agreement, a promise of service, or an obligation on the part of Chris Greer Press. We review submissions at our discretion and may decline to engage for any reason.

3.3 Limited License to Evaluate

By submitting materials, you grant Chris Greer Press a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to review and evaluate your submission solely for the purpose of determining whether to offer our services. This license terminates if we decline the submission or upon your written request.

3.4 Confidentiality

We treat all submissions as confidential. We will not share, publish, or distribute your manuscript or submission materials without your written consent, except as required by law. However, we cannot guarantee that ideas, themes, or concepts similar to your submission will not independently appear in other works we encounter.

4. Publishing Blueprint Scoring

Blueprint submissions are scored internally using a proprietary assessment system. Scores are used solely to help us evaluate project fit and determine recommended engagement pathways. Scores are:

  • Internal to Chris Greer Press and never disclosed to submitters.
  • Not a judgment of literary quality or commercial viability.
  • Subject to change as our assessment methodology evolves.
  • Not a guarantee of acceptance, service, or outcome.

5. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., laconquistadoranovel.com, chrisgreer.com, Amazon, Stripe). These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their respective terms and policies.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Site.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHRIS GREER PRESS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chris Greer Press LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chris Greer Press LLC regarding the use of the Site. Any separate publishing engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
